United Airlines on May 12 unveiled the beta version of the company’s new homepage and flight-booking features for united.com. New features include upgraded searching, sorting and filtering capabilities; easier access to fare and date combinations; detailed information on upgrades; and widgets for planning, alerts, saved searches and others. The website has a more modern look, according to the release, and is touch-friendly to accommodate a wide range of devices. The website will be officially launched in the summer after customer feedback and refinements. In the meantime, the preview site is at beta.united.com. After the launch, United will phase in updated pages and functionality for all of united.com.
