Korean artists visit NMI for inspiration
Eleven illustrators and calligraphers and two designers of Korean sportswear
brand Barrel visited the Northern Mariana Islands from Dec. 26 to 30 to draw inspiration
from the tropical setting. The artists generated creative content, which
they posted on social networks.
The Northern Mariana Islands will be featured in a four-part television series entitled “How do you like optional tours on Saipan?” on TV Tokyo Corp. The series is scheduled to air in April and features tour activities in the NMI. The series will bring the NMI $1 million in advertising exposure to Japanese citizens who are interested in overseas travel.
