Unitek Environmental Guam has promoted two of its executives.
Brad Wolfe has been appointed vice president. He was previously the senior environmental scientist and corporate safety manager.
Wolfe started his environmental career at Unitek in 1991 as an environmental scientist.
He holds a 1989 bachelor’s of science in earth science from the University of Wisconsin and is a Certified Professional Geologist.
Jeannette Jano-Meno has been appointed vice president. She was previously the environmental program manager.
Jano-Meno started working at Unitek in 2014 as the operations manager and rejoined the company in 2021 as the environmental program manager.
Meno holds a 1996 bachelors of science in biology from Walla Walla University, Wash., a 2002 master’s of science in environmental science from the University of Guam, and is a Registered Environmental Professional and a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager.
Tan Holdings Corp. has appointed Francis E. Santos as director of corporate business development.
Santos worked as acting/interim superintendent for the Guam Department of Education from July 2022 to December 2022. He was formerly the chief financial officer for Guam Regional Medical City for three years, leaving the position in December 2021. He also previously served for six years as a senator in the 22nd, 23rd, and 24th Guam legislatures.
Santos holds a 2012 master’s in business administration in healthcare administration from Loma Linda University.
He also is the vice chairperson for the Consolidated Commission on Utilities, sitting on the body since 2019; chairman of the board of iLearn Academy Charter School; and director and member of Global Health Systems.
Teleguam Holdings LLC, which does business as GTA; has promoted Michele C. Perez to senior community relations manager. She started her career with GTA in December 2011 as a marketing and communications specialist. In November 2019, Perez was appointed community relations manager for GTA.
Prior to joining GTA, Perez worked for Sorensen Media Group, which does business as Pacific News Center and KUAM News until 2010.
Perez holds a 2005 bachelor’s in communications from the University of Guam.
Pacific Federal Management Inc. has appointed Sabrina S. Matanane as business development, marketing, and public relations manager. Her work primarily focuses on federal contract opportunities.
Matanane rejoined the private sector after running for lieutenant governor of Guam in 2022, with Michael F.Q. San Nicolas, Guam’s delegate to congress, who ran for governor. Before she ran for public office, Matanane was an anchor, and managing director for news and local productions since January 1998 at KUAM News.
Matanane holds a 1994 bachelor’s in electronic journalism from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Okla.
JCA Guam LLC, which does business as McDonald’s of Guam & Saipan has announced the following appointments.
Vilmore F. Santiago has been appointed area supervisor for McDonald’s of Guam & Saipan, which oversees and manages four locations, two of which are in Saipan. He is supervisor of the Maite and Tamuning restaurants in Guam, and Middle Road and Garapan restaurants in Saipan. Santiago joined McDonald’s in 1996, starting his career as a crew member, and eventually becoming a general manager.
Danica Tan has been appointed marketing assistant for McDonald’s of Guam. She previously worked as marketing manager from August 2021 to February 2023 at Meskla Enterprises LLC; and was a digital marketing specialist at RE/MAX Diamond Realty from April 2021 to August 2021.
Tan holds a 2020 bachelor’s in business administration with a concentration in marketing from the University of Guam.
Sanctuary Inc. of Guam has appointed two new members to its board of directors.
Ione S. Llagas is the director of carrier wholesale with Docomo Pacific and has held the position since 2021. She has been with the company since 2015, beginning her career as an executive assistant to the president and CEO of Docomo. Then, she became a program and project manager for enterprise business in 2019 with Docomo.
Llagas is a Project Management Professional Certified as of 2021, Project Management Institute; holds a 2019 professional master’s of business administration, and a 2014 bachelor’s of business administration, both from the University of Guam.
Isaiah John Aguon is a senior reporter with Glimpses Media and has nearly four years of experience in the media industry in Guam. He formerly worked as a radio and television news reporter at Pacific News Center from 2019 to 2021; and as a television news anchor, show host, and multimedia journalist at KUAM News from 2021 to 2022.

Doosan Enerbility Co., which does business as Doosan Ukudu Power; has appointed Tyler Matanane as the spokesperson for Power On the Move, the communications arm for the Ukudu power plant transport project.
Matanane previously worked as the spokesperson for the 2022 gubernatorial campaign of former Gov. Felix P. Camacho and former Sen. Vicente A.R. Ada. She formerly worked as a news anchor, show host, and reporter from 2018 to 2022 at Pacific Telestations LLC., which does business as KUAM News.
The Guam Fire Department has appointed Nicolas Garrido as public information officer. He is a fire lieutenant for GFD, assigned to the Security Forces Squadron, Guam National Guard, after completing the U.S. Air Force’s first sergeant academy.
Garrido previously was a firefighter I assigned to the rescue bureau at GFD from 2015 to 2020, and a firefighter I assigned to the Covid Transport Unit from 2021 to 2022.
Garrido has a 2022 associate’s degree in hospitality and fitness management, and associates degree in human resource management; both from the Community College of the Air Force. He is working on his bachelor’s of arts in healthcare administration, which he is scheduled to complete in December.
The Judiciary of Guam has appointed Jannette Samson as spokesperson. She formerly was a news anchor, show host, reporter, social media and web editor at Pacific News Center.
Samson is also attending the University of Guam, majoring in visual arts and secondary education.
