Suncare brings KOH coconut water, expands chocolate products

BARRIGADA, Guam — Patterson Enterprises, which does business as Suncare Distributors, expanded its product line in the past year to include KOH brand coconut water by Taiwan-based Babi International Corp. The new line also includes KOH’s mango-flavored coconut water and a coconut milk drink.

On Guam, the KOH products are available at major grocers and gas stations and convenience stores, according to William Ymesei, director of marketing and information technology.

Patterson Enterprises is also in the process of expanding its chocolate factory, Guam Premium Chocolate, to include other designer chocolates in addition to its chocolate-covered macadamia nuts. The company acquired new equipment and will introduce chocolate-covered dried fruits as well as a variety of chocolate-covered clusters and assortments by the second quarter of 2017.

Coke-Foremost introduces drinks in Saipan, Guam

BARRIGADA, Guam — Foremost Foods Inc. launched F’real milkshakes on Saipan in February, after launching the product on Guam at the end of 2015. Ice cream novelties from Rich’s Ice Cream were also introduced to both markets this year, says Ernest Mak, director of operations.

Foremost also introduced Foremost brand flavored teas in 2016, including mandarin, peach and lemon flavors. The Foremost Blend Coffee was also relaunched with four flavors: Classic, Mocha, Cappuccino and Espresso.

Additionally, the Quench purified water is now available in 20-ounce and 1.2 gallon sizes.

Fuze fresh-brewed tea was launched in Subway stores by Coca-Cola Beverage Co. (Guam) Inc. in two flavors: unsweetened black tea and sweetened green tea.

Coke also launched the Minute Maid Sparkling Juice drink in 2016 with four flavors: Tropical Citrus, Mixed Berry, Fizzy Lemonade and Fruit Punch.

Primo redesigns beef jerky packaging

BARRIGADA, Guam — Primo Distributors LLC redesigned its packaging for Jeff’s Famous Jerky, which is exclusively distributed on Guam by the company. Replacing the gold bags are modern-design white bags that feature a healthy image in addition to a tasty one, says Jaron A. Middleton, general manager.

Quality Distributors brings more meat and seafood

TAMUNING, Guam — Quality Distributors introduces new products to Guam every month, says George Lai, president. Some of the additions in the past year to the more than 7,500 items in its product line include:
