Taiwan’s “iWalker,” a show that features various destinations around the world, was filmed in Saipan and Tinian from Dec. 11 to 18. The show has 30 million viewers in Taiwan and worldwide. The first episode aired on Jan. 12 in Taiwan and China. Sanlih Entertainment Television Co. aired the shows internationally in January and February. Featured were Garapan Street Market, Mt. Carmel Cathedral, a bike tour with Marianas Trekking, Marianas Tropical Liqueurs, snorkeling at the Grotto, Kanoa Resort Adventure Zone, a dinner cruise aboard the Stars & Stripes, Suicide Cliff, Banzai Cliff, Bird Island lookout, the Last Command Post, Beach Road and downtown Garapan nightlife. Tinian’s House of Taga, Tinian Blowhole, Chulu Beach and Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino were also showcased.
