Choice Broadcasting LLC’s STAR 101FM station on Oct. 15 began broadcasting the English version of Asia Pop 40, a three-hour weekly syndicated chart show that counts down the most popular downloads on iTunes across Asia. The show will air weekly on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again on Sundays at 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Asia Pop 40, produced by Singapore’s EON Media Group, airs in over 40 markets across Southeast Asia and China in both English and Mandarin and is hosted by Dom Lau, former anchor for E! News Asia and video jockey on FOX International Channel’s music network, Channel V.
