Nine women were chosen from an initial field of twenty applicants to compete for the title of Miss Marianas 2018. The contestants were chosen after completing an application process in which they explained why they want to compete for the title and what they will do if they win. The pageant will be held in February and the winner will go on to compete in two as yet to be determined international pageants where they will represent the Northern Mariana Islands.
