Java Hut in Docomo Pacific headquarters
Opened: March 15
Location: Tamuning, inside Docomo headquarters
Hours: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., Monday – Saturday

Seating capacity: 20

Marketed as a grab-and-go location, this outlet is frequently used by both loyal coffee customers and Docomo Pacific employees. Java Hut in Docomo offers a similar menu to its main location behind the Oka Pay-Less Supermarket in Tamuning.

Community First Student-Run Credit Union
Opened: Feb. 16
Location: Mangilao
Hours: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Thursday; 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Friday; and 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Saturday.
President and CEO: Gerard A. Cruz
Number of employees: 12

The 1,870-square-foot space is run almost entirely by student interns from the University of Guam and Guam Community College, under the supervision of two experienced senior managers. The Mangilao branch operates at full service and incorporates modern design and technology to serve customers.

Synergy Studios, Hagåtña
Opened: March 31
Location: In the P&R Building, behind Mighty Purple
Hours: 4:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m., 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and
4 p.m. – 8 p.m., Monday – Friday; 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., Saturday; and 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., Sunday.
Owners: Clare B. Calvo, Lillian L. Reyes, Judy Rosario
Capacity: Between 50 and 60 participants

The 5,200-square-foot space allows multiple fitness classes to be conducted simultaneously. The location also allows Synergy instructors to make use of nearby recreational areas such as the Paseo de Susana and Latte Stone Park for yoga and cardio exercises.

StayWell headquarters
Opened: Feb. 20
Location: Maite
Hours: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday
President and CEO: Chen Y. Mack
Number of employees: Up to 60

The headquarters opened with a new logo and brand to help beyond expectations. The 17,900-square-foot space features open architecture and “feng shui” décor that provides a welcoming atmosphere for clients and visitors.

Snow Monster 
Opened: March 3
Location: Tumon Bay Center, next to Burger King
Hours: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m., daily
Owner: Christopher T. Masterenko

The new dessert shop incorporates trends in its menu, which include treats such as cakes, cookies and ice cream, along with beverages like high-end coffees, teas and lemonades. Because Snow Monster follows the latest food trends, customers can expect the shop to change its menu from time to time.

 

 

Splash Bar & Café
Opened: April 5
Location: Tumon, second floor of UnderWater World
Hours: Tentatively 5 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. daily

Seating capacity: 80

Splash Bar & Café is a cozy, intimately lit space that incorporates UnderWater World’s second floor exhibits. The bar has a U-shaped design, approximately 1,000 square feet, with a mix of standing tables and chairs along the sides. A standard one-day pass with a complimentary drink is $30, but the bar periodically will have promotions that customers can take advantage of. The bar strays from a party atmosphere and invites events such as business and social gatherings.

Infusion Coffee & Tea, T Galleria by DFS, Guam
Opened: March 23
Location: Inside T Galleria, where LeSportsac was formerly located
Hours: 9 a.m. – 11 p.m. daily
Manager: Fook Liao
Number of employees: 8
Seating Capacity: 30

The eighth Infusion location offers a cozy, open space for customers to enjoy after shopping at various retailers within T Galleria. This location features a wall of social media posts of Infusion treats and beverages shared by customers.

Port of Mocha Coffee House, Guam Premier Outlets
Opened: Planned for April 15
Location: Next to Payless Shoesource Inc. on the interior, across the exterior of Ross Dress-For-Less.
Hours: 10 a.m. – 9 p.m., daily
Owner: Sanjay R. Dewan
Number of employees: 12
Seating capacity: 100

This location will have Port of Mocha’s first roaster, which will serve as a bean production hub for all Port of Mocha locations. The design includes a mezzanine where customers will be able to sit and hold meetings.
