The Marianas Visitors Authority attended the Pacific International Tourism Expo 2016 from May 20 to 22 at Far Eastern State University in Vladivostok. The MVA held a sand art show and a sand art class for children. The MVA also distributed 800 brochures in Russian, more than 200 guidebooks and printed materials received from industry partners Mango Resort, Pacific Islands Club Saipan and Saipan World Resort. In addition to MVA’s team, more than 200 national tourism offices, travel agencies, tour operators and travel-related companies joined the event. According to the event organizer, more than 10,000 guests visited the three-day exhibition, a release from the MVA said.
