The following executives were nominated this year for Guam Business Magazine’s Executive of the Year. We are proud to recognize these individuals, who have made an impact on their colleagues, companies and community through notable achievements in their businesses and institutions in the past year.

Tamio Clark

Tamio S. Clark is the owner and principal broker of Blue Pacific Realty Guam, whose life took a very successful turn after graduating with a degree in economics and business administration.
He established Blue Pacific Realty in 1991 to cater to the special needs of Japanese clientele in the acquisition or sale of assets in Guam, as well as provide assistance to local property owners with the development and sales of homes. He also established a corporation in Saipan known as Pacific Horizon LLC to conduct various businesses and real estate transactions. He has served as an interpreter for the Superior and District Court of Guam.
In 1981 he attended classes at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan, studying for a bachelor of science in economics and business administration as that was the only program available at night. During the day he worked in a Japanese company, New Long Seimitsu Kogyo Co. Ltd. where he was employed in the Overseas Division, exporting machines to the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
During the course of his professional career he has worked with many local and overseas corporations in the acquisition or sale of property on Guam, as well as served as an advisor and broker for corporations like Asahi Breweries, Fujita Kanko, Kawasho (Royal Palm), Takayama Bussan, Tokyu Corp., Tokyu Construction, Maeda Pacific, Nihon Suiri, Misawa Homes, Maruko, Joint International Development, Tomen Corporation, Daita Co., Ltd., Paradise Estates Subdivision, Pacific International Guam Inc., Iida Sangyo (Aurora Resorts) Sanko Bussan, Lamlam Tours, Guam Tamagawa Co., Ltd. (Pacific Laundry), HEC Guam (Hanwha), NRG Solar, Glidepath, Don Quijote Co. Ltd (also known as Don Don Donki), the Ysrael Family Trust, Oxford Properties & Finance Ltd., and Lih Pao Investment (Talo Verde Estates).
In addition to his business achievements, Clark is actively involved in community service. He serves as a high councilman for Self Reliance and Welfare for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has been an engaged member of the Guam Chamber of Commerce for more than 35 years. He also has been a regular contributor to the Japan Club of Guam for the annual Autumn Festival and a supporter of organizations like the Salvation Army.
He is married to Kazuko I. Clark. They have two daughters Reina J. Clark and Erika L. Clark.

Joseph C. Guerrero

Joseph C. Guerrero serves as the vice president and co-owner of Transcends LLC, which does business as Transcends Consulting, Naked Fish Bar & Grill, and Håfa Adai Realty.
Guerrero has held a number of executive positions across businesses in Guam and Saipan since 2001 when he joined Joeten Motor Co. in Saipan, where he served as auto sales manager before his promotion to vice president and general manager. He also worked as senior business manager at Saipancell Communications; director of finance at Marianas Health Services, vice president and co-founder of Saint Joseph’s Medical Transport; and vice president and co-founder of Precision Medical Imaging.
In 2012, he co-founded Isa Villas LP in Saipan, which was awarded $22 million in federal low-income housing tax credits; from 2009 to 2015 he served as principal consultant to Allied Professional Services, Saipan; from 2018 to 2019 he served as vice president of Jiang Zheng Group, Saipan, before becoming a business development manager and later an independent consultant at Bridge Capital. He became vice president and co-owner of Transcends LLC in 2010.
Guerrero holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, which he earned from Washington State University in 1997. In 2000, he received a master’s of business administration from the University of Oregon.
He also serves as board president of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce, as a member of the CNMI Planning and Development Advisory Council, and the CNMI Small Business Development Center Network Advisory Board.
Community organizations that his company supports include the Saipan Chamber of Commerce, Make-a-Wish Guam & CNMI, Northern Marianas Technical Institute, Northern Marianas College, NMI Humanities Council, Micronesia Islands Nature Alliance, Northern Marianas Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence, Mount Carmel School, Saipan Fisherman’s Association, Center for Independent Living, and CHCC Foundation.
Guerrero is married to Eleanor T. Cabrera and they have two children: Christian C. Guerrero and Ruben C. Guerrero.

Ho Eun

Ho S. Eun is the founder and chairman of Core Tech International, which he formed in October 1991. Core Tech built the first two hardened hangars at Andersen Airforce Base using Core Tech concrete supplies and extensive heavy equipment. The hangars were just one of the multiple high-value U.S. military construction projects awarded to Core Tech. The company also developed and manages more than 8 million square feet of real estate, including 2,600 affordable housing units, commercial offices, schools, and warehouses. In addition, as the largest shareholder of Tanota Group, the company manages key properties including the Dusit Thani Guam Resort, the Dusit Beach Resort, Bayview Hotel, and The Plaza. Eun also owns the Guam Daily Post, which publishes seven days a week.
Eun earned his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in political science at Seoul National University. He received a meritorious award from the Republic of Korea sponsored by the Department of Health in 1977. He also wrote and published the book “Oh! Seoul National University.”
Core Tech and the various companies associated with it support different local non-profit organizations. In 2008, he established the Core Tech Foundation, which provides annual grants to commendable students, which has contributed more than $1 million to different organizations and causes over the years.
Eun serves as the legislative director of the Board of Directors of the Guam Visitors Bureau and as council member of the National Unification Advisory Council, Republic of Korea. He is also a member of the Guam Chamber of Commerce, Guam Contractors Association, Korean Association of Guam, and Martial Arts Association, Hap Ki Do.
He is married to Hui J. Eun and their three children are Justin Eun, Claire Eun, and Jane Eun.

Michael A. Taitano

Michael A. Taitano is the president of XVI Corp. which does business as of Guam Service Pros LLC, Marianas Service Pros, Paramount Wholesale and Prime Custom Cabinetry.
In 2016, he founded Guam Service Pros LLC, a company that focuses on janitorial cleaning, landscaping and general maintenance. In 2018, he started a sister company in Saipan that also provides janitorial cleaning and general maintenance throughout Saipan. And most recently, he started Paramount Wholesale in 2023.
After graduating from John F. Kennedy High School in 2009, Taitano knew he wanted to be in business. He worked his way up at Pacific Charlie, a T-shirt company, which is where he honed skills like cultivating client relationships, negotiating contracts and finding ways to drive revenue growth. In 2024 he completed the Small Business Administration’s program for small businesses — THRIVE. The acronym stands for Train. Hope. Rise. Innovate. Venture. Elevate., and is an executive-level training series designed to accelerate the growth of high-potential small businesses across the U.S.
The group supports local programs such as athletics teams, and various non-profit organizations. His group also supports Bagged Blessings, an internal outreach for the homeless and less fortunate.
Taitano is married to Angelina Nicole Taitano. They have four children: Kyra A. Taitano, Zaige C. Taitano, Tayvia S. Taitano, and Ezra M. Taitano.

Craig R. Wade

Craig R. Wade is the president and CFO of JRV Group of Companies, which includes Mid Pac Far East LLC; RKM Property Group LLC; BMI Automotive, which does business as NAPA Auto Parts; Bisness Mami Saipan Inc. which does business as NAPA Auto Parts; and Commercial Tire Depot LLC. He has also worked as chief of maintenance for Wade Properties.
Wade is a 1991 graduate of Alfred University where he earned a bachelor’s of science in business administration, minoring in industrial engineering. He also attended the American Graduate School of International Management “Thunderbird” in Glendale, Ariz., where he earned his master’s in international management with a focus on Asian studies. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banker School.
NAPA iis a title sponsor for the NAPA Rovers FC and also helps support the Guam Football Association and the Payless Community Foundation. The group assisted with recovery efforts following Typhoon Mawar, working overtime to help provide and distribute fuel in support of emergency response vehicles.
For more than 30 years, Wade has coached youth soccer and teams like the Wolverines, Quality, and NAPA Rovers. He has also served as a board member for the Napa Rovers FC; executive committee director for Guam Football Association; is a trustee for the Archdiocese of Agana Settlement Trust; and is a past president of the Rotary Club of Northern Guam.
He is married to Renee C. Wade.

Kim Anderson Young

Kim Anderson Young is the president and owner of Security Title, Inc., Guam and CNMI.
At Alaska Business College, Young studied accounting and later went on to earn her real estate license and become an associate broker with Fortune Properties in Alaska in 1982. Moving to the tropics, she earned her real estate license in Hawaii three years later. She served as a realtor associate for Carol Ball & Associates in Maui. Her career took a turn when she moved to Saipan and in 1987 she helped found Blue Pacific Air in Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands. After selling the business in 1991, she became vice president and managing partner of Pacific American Title in the NMI where she served to 1996. In 1997 she started Security Title Inc. in Saipan and in 1999, she entered the Guam market, opening Guam’s fourth title company.
In 2008, her business success and corporate citizenship earned her the “Small Business Person of the Year” award.
Young has had a presence in the Guam Chamber of Commerce for years, having sat in the Armed Forces Steering Committee. In 2018 and again this year she holds a seat on the board of directors. She’s also an associate member of the Guam Association of Realtors and a founding member of the Guam FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association.
Security Title regularly donates to various causes and particularly supports the Guam Chamber of Commerce’s Guam Young Professionals.
She is married to Ronald M. Young and in their blended family they have five children: Lars N. Anderson, Erika L. Anderson, Ryan K. Young, Jason K. Young, and Carter M. Young.
