The Marianas Visitors Authority participated in the China International Tourism Mart, an annual professional travel trade fair that was held in Kunming, China, on Nov. 17 to Nov. 19. MVA continues to make efforts to develop the mainland China market and has upgraded its official Chinese website, WeChat platform and Sino Weibo. Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hangzhou and Hong Kong have non-stop flights to Saipan, which is the only U.S. territory offering Chinese tourists a visa-free policy.
