Guam was the cover feature for the February issue of Hemispheres, United Airlines’ worldwide in-flight magazine, touting Guam as “the next Pacific hotspot.” The nine-page feature, entitled “Three Perfect Days in Guam,” written by Guam resident Jessica Peterson, describes Guam historical sites, restaurants, hotels, outdoor attractions, shops and recommendations from local residents. Hemispheres magazine reaches travelers onboard more than 5,251 flights per day. The cover was unveiled on Jan. 26 to the governor, representatives of the Guam Visitors Bureau and members of the media.
