The Judiciary of Guam hosted a traveling exhibit of the American Bar Association entitled “Magna Carta: Enduring Legacy 1215-2015.” The exhibit commemorates the 800th anniversary of the sealing of Magna Carta. On display at the Guam Judicial Center from Sept. 15 to 29, it was the first time the exhibit was seen in a U.S. territory.

The 16-panel exhibit featured images of objects from collections from the Law Library of Congress, an interpretive video and other materials illustrating Magna Carta’s influence throughout the centuries and how it came to be recognized as the “foundation of modern democracy.”
