A new mobile application for smartphones called Learn Chamorro launched in March. The free application provides instruction on basic Chamorro language and includes Chamorro-English and English-Chamorro dictionaries, audio pronunciations and hundreds of words and phrases for a variety of settings. Learn Chamorro, created by Troy Aguon, started as an instructional DVD and expanded to include a website, www.learnchamorro.com, which features an audio podcast, daily phrases, Guam history and trivia and grammar.
